Super Yelper Turkey Calls |

Instructions for Use |
This box can be used in two distinctly different ways, for the right or left handed. You should try both methods of each and see which one works best for you.
|
Hold the slim striker in right hand and scrape it across the lip of the box, which is held stationary in the left hand. A light downward stroke will produce the "yelp" which is the most popular call used by most hunters. The "cluck" is made by rapidly striking the box lip with a short quick snapping stroke. Other turkey talk can be produced as the hunter becomes more familiar with the caller. |
Remember: Different pressure and angles of the striker will produce higher or lower tones. This diversifies the call tremendously, and enables the hunter to imitate different ages and sexes of wild turkeys. |
RIght Handed - Method 2 |
Reverse the two elements in the hands. Hold the box in the right hand and scrape it across the striker, held stationary in the left hand. The same movements described in method one will produce like turkey sounds. Be sure to try both techniques - one will fit you better than the other. |

| Other Pointers for Use |
Be sure and keep this box chalked (use wax free chalk.) After much use the lip of the box and striker may require a very light sanding, use a fine sanding paper. To sand call place sandpaper on block of wood. To sand lip of box, sand lip at 90 Degree angle across the grain, be careful not to apply much pressure as lip may break. To sand striker, sand across the grain and not length wise. If you sand the wrong way your box and striker will not hold chalk very long.
Your call should be carried in a plastic bag. Carrying your call in a plastic bag protects your call from dirt & grime, plus protects the chalk from being worn off of the striker. When the bag is worn out, I suggest carrying the caller in a self sealing plastic bag.
Keep this box dry! If used in excessive dampness, the box may draw moisture.
If you should break the lip of your caller, I can repair the call for $9.00, postage paid.
Additional chalk sells for $2.00 plus $1.00 postage & handling - plastic cases are $2.00 plus $1.00 postage & handling.
Don't hide too well when calling turkeys. An overeager hunter may mistake your calling for that of a real bird.
